Someone in the MDPro3 discord server was asking about “Scrap Warrior” effect which is “Monsters you control that mention “Junk Warrior”, or are a Synchro Monster with “Warrior” in their original name, cannot have their activated effects negated (except “Scrap Warrior”)”. So does this still apply to the monster who effects got preemptively negated by something like “Junk Synchron”, and attempt to use its activated effect even though the card itself already being negated by “Junk Synchron”. Also does this effect of “Scrap Warrior” work similar to other cards like “Altergeist Protocol” [27541563]

使用的萌卡平台: Windows 10

使用的YGOPro: MDPro3 1.3.7

使用的服务器: mygo.superpre.pro 888

进行的操作: I Control “Scrap Warrior”, then I Normal Summon “Junk Synchron” [63977008], use its effect to Special Summon a monster that can activate its effect if Special Summoned like “Full-Speed Warrior” [17201951], then activate its effect to attempt to search a card.

期望的结果: “Full-Speed Warrior” effect resolving is negated because of “Junk Synchron”, and you cannot search the card you want.

实际的结果: “Full-Speed Warrior” still got the negated effect animation, but you can still search the card.

This works the same way as Altergeist Protocol with respect to the “effects cannot be negated” clause. It makes no difference whether the negation comes from Junk Synchron, Skill Drain, or Infinite Impermanence—the activated effect itself cannot be negated.
Similar with Soul of the Supreme King to SS Supreme King Z-ARC under GranSolfachord Coolia. This should be more well known.
