Someone in the MDPro3 discord server was asking about this card not be able to use its first effect, after testing myself I found out that it was because of Mausoleum of White [24382602] effect that grant extra Normal Summon. My question is if you already use an effect that grant extra Normal Summon, will it prevent Machinix from using its first effect, because its first effect also give you an extra Normal Summon effect. From what that user said, they were able to use Machinix first effect in EDOPro but not MDPro3.
使用的萌卡平台： Windows 10
使用的YGOPro： MDPro3 1.3.4
使用的服务器： mygo.superpre.pro 888
进行的操作： Xyz Summon Machinix after already perform extra Normal Summon granted by Mausoleum of White
期望的结果： Machinix will be able to use it’s first effect
实际的结果： Machinix can’t use it’s first effect (suspect the cause is because of Mausoleum of White)

This behavior comes from a rules adjustment made after the release of D/D/D Sky King Zero Ragnarok (ＤＤＤ天空王ゼウス・ラグナロク).
Originally, its first effect — the one that grants an extra Pendulum Summon — could be activated multiple times per turn. Later, Konami updated the ruling:

If you are already applied an effect that “you can Pendulum Summon an additional time this turn,” you cannot activate another effect that grants the same type of additional summon.

At the same time, Konami unified the handling of “effects that grant an additional Normal Summon.”
Since that update, if you’ve already summoned by applying one effect that gives you an extra Normal Summon (like Mausoleum of White), you can’t activate another card’s effect that also tries to grant you an additional Normal Summon during the same turn.

That’s why Machinix’s first effect can’t be used in MC servers (which follows the current official rule), but may still work in EDOPro (which is based on the older behavior).
